Most frequent questions

HOW MANY HOURS OF COVERAGE SHOULD WE GET?

It all comes down to what activities you’d like to do and where. It could be a sunrise session with a morning hike or late afternoon and sunset viewing with reading your vows. Or you could have a 2-day adventure including multiple hikes, rowing a boat and having a proper symbolic ceremony.
If you’re early in the planning process and don’t know what you’re looking for, you can always book the basic 4-hour package to secure your date and simply upgrade later in the process.

WHAT DO WE DO IF THE WEATHER IS BAD?

Cloudy, foggy, snowy days might not sound ideal, but those can end up being quite magical and will add a dramatic feel to your photos. If it rains, we might have to adjust the schedule a bit, but that will already be included in the planning, so we will have a plan B.

CAN WE GET LEGALY MARRRIED?

Yes! A legal wedding ceremony is possible, however it might not be the easiest process. A lot of it depend on where you’re coming from, but feel free to send us an email and we will let you know the step-by-step process. Obviously we can help arrange everything in Slovenia, but you will also have to do part of the process back at home.
Please also note, that some municipalities do not offer legal ceremonies to be held outside of their city halls or official wedding locations. For this reason most couples actually decide to get the legal marriage licence back at home, and on the elopement day opt for a personal symbolic ceremony in the mountains.

WHAT IS A SYMBOLIC CEREMONY?

A symbolic ceremony can look very similar to a traditional wedding ceremony, except it can be held pretty much anywhere, without any restrictions. We can arrange an english-speaking celebrant, who will also help write a personal ceremony for you. You can include some of the traditions like ring exchange, tying the knot or reading vows etc, or even add your own.

DO WE NEED TO HIKE?

Hiking encouraged, but always optional. Some locations are also accesible with a car, so if one or both of you are not fans of hiking, but still want those amazing backdrops, it is possible. Either way, we would recommend bringing sport shoes or something very comfortable for you to wear.

WE ARE VERY SHY – WILL THAT BE A PROBLEM?

Not at all! Our goal is to make sure you feel comfortable and enjoy your day, that’s all you need to do. This way you will also look good on photos.

WE DON’T HAVE A DATE YET, BUT WE WOULD LOVE TO GET MORE INFO.

CAN WE BRING OUR PARENTS / BEST FRIENDS?

Yes! Even though you are eloping, that doesn’t mean you can’t bring your parents, syblings or best friends with you. Dogs are more than welcome too!

“TRAVEL FEE INCLUDED” – WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?

Our 3 packages all include travel fee, that covers all travel expenses for the photographer. In most cases that will also be the case for any other vendors you will inquire for.
